I made some progress on the editor, but not as much as I hoped. I ran in to a problem with the serialization. I wanted to make it so that you could share the level via a copy-pastable string since that'd be the simplest and most widely compatible system, but levels can potentially be hundreds of characters, and that's without going in to level sets. I'd love to use an online database for this, but it's just not worth that much extra work. I can easily save levels to local files, but that won't work on mobile devices.
Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a good and efficient solution here. I think what I'm going to do is to save the levels to files on the desktop build and worry about the mobile build much later. I may just remove the level editor from mobile all-together. Maybe I can still find a way to at least let you load other peoples levels though.
