So the end of this sprint will mark the end of one year of me trying to make this game. I'll go more in to that next time though. For now, I'm having a lot of trouble bringing myself to dive back in to GML. I've been playing around with Godot a little lately, and as much as I like Game Maker, I am constantly reminded of how bad its built in language is for anything that requires data that's more structured than an array. At this point, I'm wondering whether or not I wouldn't have a better time rewriting the whole game in another engine. (I'll have to give that some thought though. Godot has its own limitations, not the least of which is a lack of documentation.)
